Practice and games will be held every Saturday morning from 9am until noon, starting December 6th and running throughout winter. Instruction will be provided – no experience necessary! Town Youth Ski and Snowboard for free at Holiday MountainWinter is in full swing, and the snow is falling. It’s time to plan for Thursday Night Lights, when Thompson youth 18 and under can ski and snowboard for FREE!The Town is continuing its Thursday NightLights program. Because this program is so popular, space is limited and pre-registration is required. *YOU MUST REGISTER FOR YOUR PREFERRED THURSDAY ASAP, UP UNTIL WEDNESDAY EVENING, THE DAY BEFORE YOU’D LIKE TO RESERVE*. Read on for all the details on how to register: Youth age 5-18 who reside in Thompson and pre-register can ski or snowboard for free at Holiday Mountain in Monticello until all spots have been reserved. As long as weather permits, the program runs on Thursdays once Holiday Mountain opens for the season, from 4-9pm. Equipment rentals are included free of charge. Lessons cost extra. Youth who are beginner skiers or snowboarders must be accompanied by an adult. To reserve your child’s spot, they must be enrolled in the free Thompson Youth Program. Sign up here. You must reserve the day/s your child plans to attend in advance by signing up below. Join us for our FREE Kid’s Bingo Nights. Winners will win chocolate and candy as they play. This fun event is held indoors at the community room at East Mongaup River Park, 181 Town Park Road in Monticello. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. NOTE: Kids must reside in the Town of Thompson. Be sure to register for each event, as space is limited to 50 participants. The wait list is available if we exceed 50 registrations.Registration is required – RSVPing to the event on Facebook does not count as pre-registration.
